영주권 랜딩할 때 같이 따라온 정보를 한번 보려고 합니다. 영어와 한글로 표기할게요.

● Effective today, you have most of the rights and obligations of a Canadian Citizen. You are not eligible to vote in any election(federal, provincial or civic) or run for political office at those levels

- 오늘부터 당신은 캐나다 시민과 같이 거의 모든 권리와 의무를 가지게 됩니다. 당신은 어떤 선거나 정치적인 사무실을 운영할 수 없습니다.

● You will receive your Permanent Resident Card in the mail in about 6-8 weeks. When you receive the card, take the confirmation of landing document out of your passport and store it somewhere safe as you will need this later.

● You must have a valid Permanent Resident Card to re-enter Canada

● If any of your immigration documents are lost or stolen, contact your local police agency and then contact Canada Immigration and /or the consulate or embassy of your country of citizenship

● You must wait until you have a Permanent Resident Card before you apply for a new Social insurance Number through Service Canada(1-800-206-7218) and contact Manitoba health for your new Manitoba health card(1-800-392-1207)

- 당신은 영주권 카드를 받기 전까지 새 SIN 과  새 매니토바 핼스 카드를 지원하는 것을 기다려야 합니다.

(서명된 CoPR 을 가지고 가도 SIN 발급 해주더라고요.. 급하지 않다면 영주권 카드로 하는게 좋지만 급하다면 CoPR로도 가능한 것 같아요)

● Visit www.cic.gc.ca for more information regarding new Permanent Residents to Canada

- www.cic.gc.ca에 방문해면 새로운 영주권자에 대한 정보가 있습니다.

● To be eligible to apply for Canadian Citizenship you must have been physically present in Canada as a permanent resident for at least 1,460 days during the six years immediately before the date of your application. You must also be physically present for at least 183 days during each of four calendar years that are fully or partially within the six years immediately before the date of application. These requirements do not apply to children under 18. Use our online tool to find out if you have lived in Canada long enough to apply to become a citizen at www.cici.gc.ca

- 캐나다 시민권을 지원하려면 시민권 지원서 날짜 전까지 물리적으로 영주권자인 상태로 캐나다에 6년 중 최소한 1,460일(약 4년) 거주해야 합니다. 또한, 지원 날짜 직전 6년 이내에 달력으로 내 4년 중 전체 또는 부분적으로 최소 183일 있어야 합니다.이 요구사항들은 18세 이하에는 적용되지 않습니다. 온라인 툴을 활용하세요.

● If you choose not to become a Canadian Citizen and decide to remain a Permanent Resident you must continue to meet the Residency Obligation and keep your Permanent Resident card valid. If you choose to apply for Canadian Citizenship you should consider all the factors related to becoming a citizen of Canada.

- 만약 시민권자를 선택하지 않고 영주권자로 남기로 결정하면 계속 거주 의무를 지켜야 하고, 유효한 영주권 카드를 유지해야 합니다. 만약 캐나다 시민권자를 지원하기로 선택하면 시민권자가 되기 위한 요인들을 고려해야 합니다.
